Muzzy Bolt-on and Slip-on mufflers vary based on the design of the original equipment attachment. On bikes where the mufflers bolts to a flange on the stock head pipe, we design a billet aluminum end cap that will mate directly to the stock flange. On bikes where the stock muffler is welded to a removable mid pipe, we include a new mid-pipe that mates to the stock header and fastens to our muffler with a standard pinch bolt or springs. All our slip/bolt-on mufflers incorporate polished billet aluminum end caps, and available muffler materials are mirror polished oval stainless steel, brush finish titanium and carbon fiber. In addition, on the Kawasaki ZRX a polished round aluminum muffler is offered.

The Muzzy round aluminum canister is shipped standard with all stainless exhaust systems. This muffler is highly polished and incorporates polished stainless steel end caps. The end caps are riveted in place and are easy to re-pack by drilling out and replacing the rivets. Mounting is accomplished via a welded-on mounting tab. Muffler packing is a special hi temperature sound absorbing fiber material. Repacking should always be done with this material. Special "quiet" cores are smaller and are available at a slight performance penalty and extra cost.

The Muzzy oval carbon fiber muffler incorporates end caps machined from solid billet aluminum and highly polished. The exhaust tip is polished stainless steel. The carbon fiber features a smooth, clear gloss finish with the natural carbon fabric cloth clearly visible. End caps are fastened with polished button-head allen screws which are easily removable to facilitate re-packing. The mounting band is laser-cut stainless steel. Weight is 3.5 pounds.

Note: Carbon fiber mufflers are not recommended for extended high temperature operation such as found in dyno testing or extended periods at high power. Care must be taken to ensure that carbon fiber mufflers are kept well packed to avoid heat damage.

With a beautiful brushed finish, the Muzzy oval titanium muffler incorporates highly polished end caps machined from solid billet aluminum and fastened with polished button-head allen screws which are easily removable to facilitate re-packing. The exhaust tip is polished stainless steel. Weight is 4.6 pounds.

Muzzys new stainless steel muffler option features a mirror polished stainless steel body with polished, billet aluminum end caps and a rolled lip exit.
This great looking new muffler is available as an option on nearly all Muzzys full systems and bolt-ons. Pricing falls between the standard round aluminum and the premium oval titanium or oval carbon canisters.
