Area P exhaust systems are extensively tested before being produced and put in the box. Area P R&D a variety of prototypes for proper fitment, power, and tone quality. Systems are manufactured using an assortment of materials depending on the application. Area P utilizes exotic materials like carbon fiber, stainless steel, titanium and inconel. They also use more conventional materials like steel and aluminum. There are no short cuts taken on delivering a quality product.

All tubing is bent using CNC mandrel benders for seamless smooth radius bends. Area P uses right-hand, left-hand, and shifting head benders for an infinite range of possibilities. This allows many applications to feature a single multiple/compound bend tube, with no external welds or sections to impede the aesthetics, durability or flow of the material. Area P features precisely spec’d inlets that slide effortlessly onto the stock collector for a perfect fit. Securing the tube with 304 series stainless steel T-Bolt Clamps assure an airtight seal.

On applications featuring Bolt-On mufflers, 6061 aluminum adaptors that are CNC'd from solid billet stock are used. They are machined to accept the OEM gasket(s) to assure there are no exhaust leaks after installing.

Muffler shells are constructed using High-Temp Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel, or Titanium materials. They are available in 18” standard length or 15" "Extreme" versions. Carbon Fiber shells feature a two twill pattern that is autoclaved to maintain precise spec and lasting durability; top of the line. 304 Series Stainless Steel shells are made from lightweight .025" wall material. Aircraft grade Titanium shells are also made from .025" wall material and are super lightweight.

Inlet spigots and exhaust outlet tips are made from 304 series stainless steel. Area P features a unique 25° rolled edge on all exit tips. Inlet spigots are machine bulged/swaged and slotted for reliable fit and secure mounting to the S-Bend tubing when combined with Area P 304 series stainless steel T-Bolt clamps.

A variety of perforated cores are used depending on the application. In most cases, Area P uses 2.0", 2.25", or 2.50" sizes with a specific design spec percentage of staggered perforations. This assures maximum flow, and maximum attenuation of sound. Sighting down the inlet of an Area P exhaust, you will notice no deviations or impediments to flow. It’s a straight shot out to the exit for maximum performance. Applications are intended for racing/off road use only as sound levels are increased and do not meet EPA/CARB limits.   All cores are packed using the worlds best high quality muffler packing; Silent Sport Premium.

Inlet and Outlet cap are machined for 6061 aluminum billet stock to exacting tolerances. Area P believes machined from billet aluminum to be superior to stamped caps for lasting strength and durability. Nothing says quality like parts machined from solid billet.

With such precise specifications and precautions taken during assembly, we can securely fasten the end caps with four 5mm stainless steel button head screws. Area P never use rivets like other manufactures do, that can loosen over time, leak, or simply cheapen the integrity of the product. Area P takes no short-cuts in quality.

Securing the muffler to the passenger peg or other mounting point on the motorcycle consists of a specifically formed, laser-cut, 304 series stainless steel body clamp. Area P insulates this clamp with an extruded rubber insulator strap to assure a slip-free secure system. All applications feature custom bends/ears, so that no other brackets are required.

The "AP No Limits" label tops off the muffler. We use a high temp Mylar sticker/label for a clean "no rivet" look. Area P also firmly believe that you should have the option of removing a label or brand name easily if you so desire.

Area P Exhaust come standard with Brushed/Satin finish S-Bend, inlet and outlet caps, spigots and exit tips. Or you have the option of ordering the system with a highly Polished/Color Buff finish for a show quality look.
